I know i don't really post much anymore... but if anyone still does read my babble I have a quest. More can be read here http://katherinewrites.livejournal.com/1968.html but the gist of it is.... My Neechan's laptop died, and while that might not seem like much, she does insane amount of research and writing on the thing, I mean her first book is coming out in just a few months, oh and you guys better buy it :p But anyway, she does need donations to get a new machine so she can continue her work. Even if you can't afford any actual money right now, just spread the word. I know she'll appreciate it.

So I take a break from Metal Gear Solid to give a quick write up on Stone Age 2 . For those not in the know, this is a MMORPG that's in beta right now. So we can't judge it too harshly just yet.

So.... Anyone that knows me, knows I have an issue with temptation. And working where I do...well...I give in a lot. Here's a nearly complete list of what I own at the moment. A couple games i know i have i can't find so its not 100% 

Okay where to start... How about..

Work life is.... Sometimes I get really frustrated at my job. It seems like a never-ending mountain of things to do, and some of my customers... I just have the urge to jump across the counter and throttle kids when they're stupid. Which is... um... all the time? I actually almost escaped too~ Well escape is a little harsh... how about moved up? I've been in talks with Nintendo for a bit. The only reason I didn't get to go to the in person interviews was entirely my own fault.

I need to grow up

The whole thing with me dragging my feet about driving, has cost me one of those once in a lifetime jobs... It sucks, but I'm going to learn from this, and hey at least it got me out there and actually learning how to drive. I do kinda have another opportunity to try to leave retail. There's a vet office hiring down the road for a receptionist... I've never really done that work, but I would not mind it. It would be nice and easy in comparison.

As for the love life.... Eh... Still nothing, and that's ok. I don't think i'm meant to date really. It's a very uncomfortable thing for me.

And this is a bit odd since its a random idea that just kinda popped in my head but, I'm going to start posting personal reviews of all the free MMO's out there. Some of them are *really* good and others.... Well.... They're okay, but there's better out there. I'm probably going to speend a couple weeks to a month on each and going to blog about the details here. I wanna get in the process of writing reviews, hehe.

I just started this game a couple days ago... But just so you guys know what will be coming up, I'm going to be writing a review on Stone Age 2. Which is kinda odd because i never heard of the first one... but oh well ?

Heh... Just wanted to check in with everybody. Let them know I'm still alive and kicking. Sorry I haven't talked to everyone much, been a bit busy and distracted ^^;; Thankfully my work will be finished soon (woo) or as soon as I get off my lazy hide and finish it ^^;; heh. As soon as I finish I'll actually try to update something... Really ^^;;; yeah I know you don't believe me -.- but I will. ^_^ What will I update? ............... erm.... Kamereon...I figure if I update that I'll make 95% of my fans happy ^^ heh

I hope people are still watching Tru and Veronica... Veronica has been renewed for another season ^_^ I'm *really* happy about that... and the kiss between Logan and Veronica? I was busy but caught the tail end ^^;;; I squealed just as much as the other fangirls out there... *AWESOME* kiss scene... To be honest I think I might like the couple as much if not as much as Spike/Buffy ... yeah I know, time to have a fit, Kikyo-mouto ^.~

I changed my icon again ^^;; Managed to get a good shot of a couple of my tanks (and friends ^_^). My hat is ugly -.- I'm well aware of that, no need to tell me that... And behind the sin is my cute pet ^_^ Isn't he just the most adorable thing ever? ... from what you can see of him? ^^;; silly pet must have been camera shy... Anyway the adorable lil thing really loves to talk ^^ random strangers will reply to his comments ^^:; which is just silly. But *so* cute. Makes me want to reach through the computer and hug its squishy self ^-^

Other news? After I finish work I'll probably be stressed again ^^;; Oh well... stress is something you kind of have to live with, and I'm going to do so. ^^;; what choice do I have, ya know? But anyway, besides stress life is good. ^^ Learning new stuff pretty much every day and taking actual steps instead of being stagnant... heh.... Probably won't make it to A-kon this year, which sucks but ^^;; next year, I'm going ^_^ I'll save for it ^.~

Oh... Right Stuf is having a Tokyopop sale. I nearly cried when I saw it ^^;;; They waited until I was pretty broke before they unleashed it -.- they're so mean, ne? Maybe I'll manage to land a good paycheck and hit it after all ^_^ I doubt it but I can always wish, na?

First of all... To bunny, probably won't talk to you today. My internet wires have been chewed in HALF by my big cuddly pit bull -.- so... I need to fix those.... it's been the reason for the extreme lag

Everyone else? Set your TV's, and watch Tru tonight on Fox at 7 central. No slacking guys or you're going to hear me b*tch at you for a good long while... Yeah, I'm that fired up to get viewers for my fav show. And I expect those that watch and enjoy, to write Fox ^.~

So I logged into my game and had fun for awhile... but noticed that my PC was running a bit slower than usual that day. For you see... I had *very* hungry kitties (despite their food bowl OVERFLOWING cause I sort of couldn't get the bag to stop cause I was sore from working out >.>) anyway... these hungry kitties decided they didn't want food... Nope, they wanted network wires to happily munch on. And munch the did... tore the socket out of the wall with their feline munchery...

So my game is going fine and I have to go help a friend become a thief. I go to teleport and the game freezes... Just freezes. So I log off and restart... and when I come back my internet connection is *completely* and utterly dead... Dead as a doornail, not coming back dead. So I followed my little network cable and saw the chewed up end -.- and had inspiration... if kitties can't get to the socket... they can't chew it.

So I moved my PC into a completely different room (I have a TV now ^_^ heh) and set it all back up (a process that took awhile cause I had to clean my tower out... it had dust bunnies leaking from it o.o) so I get it all hooked up and started and... my internet connection is *still* gone... so I used a different wire... nope... so I did a 'system restore' that I learned earlier this week while fixing someone else's PC... it worked like a charm. Now my system is purring agani ^_^ and I'm in a much more comfortable spot

But the moral of the story? Don't trust kitties with ANYTHING. I'm keeping an eye on these four from now on... they even come NEAR one of my wires, they're going to go play with the big dog -.-

Other news? Umm.... not so much, really. Helped my friend become a thief (yay) and we're going to go try to steal some 4 leafs (a rare item ^.^) from Mandagoras in order to make a bunny band (another rare item unless you're rich) though that's only one of the requirements needed. Might convince her to split up so one can go for the kitty bands as well.... hmm...

In other/other news? Only one person commented on that cute flash T_T not even the bunny commented on the cute flash... *sigh* Oh well... I'll still post cute stuff cause it's cute.

Kind of a weird entry... But I'm promoting Microsoft's new anti spyware beta... Why? Because it does an awesome job. I load it on all machines that leave my shop now. Unlike Pest Patrol (which I used to love) MS's program is proactive. When you're downloading something or first starting Ragnarok Online, heh... it'll tell you just *what* the program is trying to do and make sure you're okay with that.

Very cool...

So in the efforts to stamp out spyware? I'd suggest more people download it and try it out.

On other subjects?

hmm... for my RO schedule, I haven't really sat down and worked at it yet. I'm going to make an effort to not get on before 3 central because stuff needs done. CPU's, stupid websites that I don't really wanna do but need to do for cash... fics XD

Oh, and last night I learned how to roll a system back... Eaiser than I thought.... And final note? If you see something called 'Port Magic' from AOL? RUN... that thing took me *HOURS* to extract from a system because it would keep freezing it and leaving remnants... AOL dropped the ball on that one.

Probably going to go see 'Ice Princess' later today. I don't care if it's a kind of 'cuddly' movie... I wanna see Michelle in a role other than Dawn... so it should be interesting.

One of my Neechans has me worried now... the entire tone of her words and the way she phrased them? Has me scared for her. I don't think she'll do anything irrational but... I can't help but worry about her. I hope she takes me up on my offer to talk about it via the phone. I might not have the most life exp out there, but it really sounds like she needs to vent and just on here won't be enough for her. I read a post a 'friend' wrote to her and >.< it ticked me off a bit.... poor Neechan.

Veronica Mars 8 central on UPN tonight. We're finally getting back to the final 7 episodes of the season. Even if you haven't been closely watching, you should get a bit caught up with the 'previouslys' it's just a well written show and Kirsten Bell is a stand out actress.

Another note? Tru on Thursday at 7 central, watch and behold Davis's new horrible look.

Tru is COMING BACK TO FOx... Next Thursday to be precise, I hope they advertise the hell out of it... If not, I'll post EVERY DAY here if I have to. It's on at 8, (7 Central) and they're showing the first two epsiodes of the 2nd season back to back.

Didn't watch the first? IT DOESN'T MATTER! They'll bring you up to speed in the first five minutes. Just support this show with all you've got! This is a chance to get this thing renewed!

A short blurb post. Mood has still kind of been up and down, but that's not why I'm posting... I'm posting to announce I fixed a PC problem all by my lonesome (and with the help of Google) and what was this horrible error that was giving me gray hairs?

The PC's date was set to 5597 ....... I'm still not sure how that happened, maybe because it's an older system? But once I fixed it to the CORRECT date, everything was working great.
